CMSDI-1616S - 16 by 16 Modularized Hybrid SDI Matrix

The 16 by 16 Modularized Hybrid SDI Matrix from Cypress Technology can route the SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI signals of 16 sources to be shown on up to 16 SDI-equipped displays, ensuring high bit-rates of 2.970 Gbps to give users fast signal transmission without signal loss. Besides the regular matrix functionality, the Cypress matrix model is very attractive to integrators because of its great flexibility. With the most advanced modularization design the Cypress model can be setup as a matrix of different SDI IN-OUT combinations (count with four, for example, a matrix with 4-SDI-IN/4-SDI-OUT or 4-SDI-IN/8-SDI-OUT), all users need to do is to swap the input or output panels as you wish. Additionally, these units can be controlled with the supplied IR remote, the front panel keys or RS-232 control functions.

  • SD-SDI: SMPTE 259M-C, at bitrates of 270 Mbit/s
  • HD-SDI: SMPTE 292M, at bitrates of 1.485Gbit/s and 1.485/1.001 Gbit/S
  • 3G-SDI: SMPTE 424M/425M-AB, at bitrates of 2.970 Gbit/s and 2.970/1.001 Gbit/s
  • Supports signal input and output distances of up to 250 meters for SD signals
  • Supports 200 meters for HD signals
  • Supports 100 meters for 3G signals
  • Input or output module types can be added in increment of 4 from 4×4 up to 16×16 with SDI interface
  • HDMI output module will be available in the future version
